Went to casino last night. Was there for around 5 hours and made a healthy $13 profit :) On the way home i got Mcdonalds so basically my 5 hours of poker paid for a late snack. Was so card dead the first hour that the table realised i was super tight, when i finally got some hands i got zero action. the same people played nearly the whole night and they were kinda nitty which was a bummer. i used my image to win a few pots w a check raise on a draw or watever but didnt go to showdown once in the night lol. i need to learn omaha cause that table looked so fishy!
Got my rakeback for last weeks 20k hands which was a healthy $350. helped soften the blow of my downswing a little. this means i have lost exactly $1k since my last good update on the 16th, half of which was in a bad Nl100 session and the rest to NL50, NL25 rush poker. i might give full ring rush a go at like NL25 for 10k hands, if i cant win there then i am done with it. it seems so beatable and the rakeback is amazing so i really want to beat it.

i dont know whats gone wrong but i just cant win. never have my overpairs been cracked so oftem, and always by a turned two pair or trips. its just infuriating. thank god i have only been playing NL50 lately. joel was telling me about brad and how he went through such a bad patch he moved all the way back to NL10. i feel like im going through that kind of bad patch. tomorow i might fire up the NL25 and play a big session to try get back into it. weird thing is i feel like im playing my best game lately, putting in a few more bluffs and steals than i otherwise would and making good folds.... this has been an expensive week off work sick lol.

Downswing!
Ah it had to happen eventually. lost $450 yesterday playing NL100. im home from work sick so put in a pretty big session. not much to say. wasnt playing bad or tilting, just couldnt hit a flop or get any value. lost a few flips and bam! 4.5 buyins gone.
today i log in and see RUSH poker. its pretty much an arcade version of poker, as soon as u fold u witch tables and get a new hand. i 4 tabled it all day and did 11.2k hands!! was playing NL50 to get used to it. unfortunately i ran really bad, and lost 6 buyins lol. but am probably guna get some mad rake to help a bit.
once i get into the grove this is a rakeback grinders paradise. i was earning ~$11 an hour at NL50 today i estimate. the only gay thing is HUD dont work so u have NO reads on anyone. pretty much have to play tight, standard poker. the fish are still there but they r just harder to see. while fun for now, i think this would either create a huge rush of fish or they just lose there money so fast that all the fish dissapear.

Went to the casino again last night with luke. we didnt get a seat at the same table though which sucked. i had some fairly chatty guys at my table tho so it helped the boredom that comes with playing a slow live game.
Within the first few hands i get TT and raise to $11 EP. this regular called gordon min 3bets. he does this with AA KK and mayyyybe QQ, never a bluff lol. ive played with him alot. so i call and hit a set to double up nearly straight away. he acts like its the worst beat in the world....
soon i get AK utg and raise to $12. get 3 callers. flop is all low spades giving me the nut flush and 2 overs. i c-bet and get called by a terrible reg on the button. he know im strong so he is probably calling with a spade. i fire a blank turn, build the pot if a spade comes cause he will pay me off and my A & K outs are almost definately good. he calls and an A falls on river. i bet out fairly small but he folds. says he had the Q spades.
last big hand i get KK on button. raise and call from early. and someone 3bets to $35. i 4bet to $75 and she calls. flop is an A high all spade board but at least i have the K spades. check check. i have showdown valuse and my pair is most likely good and its not like i can easily b drawn out on so i may as well keep it small. turn is a blank and she bets real small - like $30. i call. another blank river and now she bets $25 so i just call and she shows JJ.
after that i didnt get any more exciting pots, just took a few small ones down with a c-bet to maintain my stack. cashed out for $575.

Cash game at the cass
after my abismal tourney, i come home and did a 2hour session online and made $100. feeling good again i went back in to join the cash game.
first big hand happened winthin the orbit. im in the BB w TT, the entire table limps to me. i dont even raise cause i know im getting 4 callers minimum and im out of position.
flop T36 2 clubs. i check and no one bets! thurn brings an innocent 5 and i bet out, get raised - i shove with top set and he shows 55 lols.
soon i had a pretty brutal hand. limped to me on the button w AA, pop it up to $14 and get 3 callers. flop: AT3 2 clubs. i c-bet and get 2 callers somehow. turn brings the flush and the other big stack donks $60 into me. i call hopeing im good or will pair. doubt i will call anymore $$$ on the river. river is a 4th club and he shoves. i fold he shows KJ off with the Kclubs. so sick
no other major hands happened but i won alot of mediium pots around $100 as i limped alot with the rest of the table and got max value off some weird hands.
had a funny hand where i limped along w 44 and a descent player raises to $12 from the BB. i call and so does 1 other. flop was 567 two clubs, he c-bets kinda small like i had seen him do with missed hands. so i c-raise him to $50. the other limpper calls with $25 left and im like o shit. turn is a blank and i say lets just put it in. he has K8 off, and is drawing for the straight. My 44 holds for like $180 pot haha
then was the BIGGEST pot ever. i announce to the table this is my last hand - look down at the rockets baby utg. make it $14 ... 2 callers and then a re-raise from the other deep stack. we both have around $500 - me maybe a bit more than him. he makes it $56. he is a descent player but has all the usual reg leaks. i 4bet big - $120 more for him. he tank calls. around $400 in the pot or something. flop is a beautiful 843, beautiful as in there is no K or Q. he donks $125 and i put him all in. he calls and the pot is like $800 - $900 big. He shows QQ !
wat a dream situation and he played it soooo bad against a deepstack, which means $ in the pocket for me. i squeal like a girl and run to cash out. $1k in my pocket and i walked really fast to my car lol.

Casino Torney #3
As the trend for me goes, this torney went shit. Combined between this and the last tourney, i havent won a hand lol.
i flopped a set and lost half my stack to a rivered gutty against a station, i folded the river donk and he showed
i raised a limper w AQ and got a smooth call behind, he was slow playing KK cause "i thought u had AA"
i shoved over a minraise and 2 callers who were both vpip=80% material players with 12bb. i had QJsuited and the final caller decided to call with K3 suited which knowcked me out lol.
Im guna have tea then go back in and join a cash game, hopefully those tourney guys stay around.

Descent Day
had a big cash in the Dailey Dollar today, 250th out of 12000 for a whopping $6! had such a sick hand early on:
But came back to get up to 190k chips at one point. then i lost w AJ v AK when i flopped an A with 30bb. why do i have to waste my run good tourney on the dailey dollar?!
also had my biggest cash pot ever:
the suck - re suck out makes it epic. the guy to my left was a spazzy fish obviously. i went for the risky option of calling the 4bet to keep him in the pot.
$680 won at NL100 so far + $168 rakeback credited in 16k hands which is good. Also im running above EV cause im a lucky son of a bitch so that helps!
