homegame on tue. played nitty as. wanted to be a wild night but things didnt go my way. was down $200 and we swicthed to omaha. i 3bet a raggy hand and flopped a boat on 442 and doubled up through luke. i also 4bet luke and fired a low flop with A9 but he was trappin'. if u 5bet i might have gone for the elusive 6bet bluff haha. i think those were the only exciting hands i got in. not as nitty as sam tho - he folded KJ in early position lols.
pokersoc torney last night which was a huge donkathon. i had the worst table in the world and used my shove rebuy strategy to have a pretty good stack going into the break. my table was sooooooo slow tho and we would literally play 3 hands in between blind levels which were skyrocketing rediculously fast. i had 25k and went for a blind steal (av bout 18k prob) accidently cbet too much cause i thought blacks were 10k so i tossed in a bloack and said 10k thinking i had a much biiger stack than i did. then i had to put in another black and had cbet half my stack. he had 2pair of course. then lost a flip AK v QQ wen i had just under everage a bit later ~16k, a with 1k/2k blinds. chris lai takes out the $50 last longer bet between me him luke and tim.
play short handed 50PLO between me luke and tim. i run super good and stakc everyone multiple times to cash out $240. i reshoved tim with top pair on J32 cause i thought he as bluffing and lucky my way to a 50/50 verse his pair+wrap. also called an all in with 89TJ or something on A94 after i 3bet pf. i know he has no set cause i could have AA so think im doing all right verse a draw or bluff with alot of backdoor outs seeing as i had to call$10 into like $50-60. turns out he has nut flush draw no pair but i looked it up and i was a descent favourite. maybe i should never fold in omaha. also hit like a million straights and ship the chips. i end up +$10 in my live bankroll for the week.
that about wrapps it up i guess.

I think you will find live poker legend Doyle Brunson suggests "tight is right" against a table of lagtards. I hate Doyle Brunson.
