had a spewtastic weekend. and october has definetly not been a good month for me. althogh ive only played 8k hands cause my comp broke. rakeback seems to have taken roughly a 25% hit from this new FT thing which is also super gay. so what happened on the weekend? i played fine but it all went horribly wrong...
so this first hand may be a mistake. im versing a fish with stats 30/1 lol. i guess is shouldnt shove the river but it must be close. thinking about it now he raises 1% of hands so he could even have AQ. not off to a good start...
i went on genuine tilt after this hand tho. having a bit of a war with this guy then bam i trap him. god i felt like phil hellmuth.
3% on flop. gota slow play them cowboys :(
o well at least i owned this guy!
the rest of the hands r just set over set or set verse draw thing. i see now i did tilt a bit looking at some of these hands. bit of the ol' run bad play bad combo. this weekend im guna grind like a madman i tell you
homegames:
had one the other week where not too much interesting stuff happened too me. i had one big hand verse remi. he 3bets from the blinds verse like luke or something so i 4bet him w AJ, like i dont mind a call or a fold im in position with probly the best hand anyway. he calls and flop is JTx he leads pot really fast. heres my remi tell, he bets fast and doesnt think when hes bluffing. dont tell anyone mmk? so he bets like $25 i call. turn is a brick he bets $65 in the same fasion and i have like 30 behind but just call cause i want him to bet again. river is a god awful JTxxQ. KQ JQ AK 9T etc etc all got there but i dont have much left so i call but i just know he hit it. he has Q9. $120ish gone.
last night was a cracker tho i was hitting every flop. luke payed me off about 50 times. i had 2 big pots verse phillip one where he pretty much shipped me his stack on KxxK with JJ and i had Ak and had just called his 3bet in position. another hand he 3bets someone and i 4bet him with Q9s. he calls and donks a 678 flop and i put him all in for ~$60 more. he made a good call tho and had JJ. we ran it 4 times and split it haha.
chewy was playing like an egg verse me for some reason. one hand stood out, flop was QTx and i cbet, he raises me 3way so i shove him with ~70 effective stacks. he calls with Q5??? i dont even know what hes thinking in these spots but he keeps doing it. i brick my straight draw
i think the best thing tho was twice i 4et luke in position with 600bb stacks. both times he was squeezing from blinds and i have A rang but if he makes it $15, i make it $40 he cant do shit unless he has AA KK or is sure im bluffing. and i know luke isnt guna rebluff me cause he wants to protect his wins for a better spot ;)
finally i got 72 about 5 times and won every hand. phillip limp reraised me and i 4bet him once and he mucked which was fun. also luke actually folded once when i baralled an A turn and i had 72 this time of course. best one tho was verse phillip. turns out we had alot of hands but thats cause i was on his right and playing alot of hands with him. so im raiser in cutoff maybe 5handed and take an A66 flop in position. i cbet and phil reraises me. i just call cause thats what id do with an A, and i doubt he has a strong one or any A at that. he checks turn and i bet $5 into like $25 pot. he folds hehe ship them 50 cents! so cash out $290 up
hmmmm 6handed casino torney coming up. $600 buyin. could be something to get excited about

Hand 1, Id play it exactly the same, fold turn if the Ace doesn't come cos I get scared when "limp caller" starts betting into me.
ReplyDeleteHand 2, haha Phil Hellmuth would've folded the turn :)
Hand 3, bad river card, its hard to do anything but call with the QQx flop.
I knew exactly what you were doing when u 4 bet me as well. I dont know why I 3 bet you the second time, almost pulled the 5 bet, not really worth it tho.
Its like everyone puts everyone else on a draw when they go all in. And it was 4 handed. that's probably the reasoning behind Chewy's call.
