lifetime graph:

now for todays sweet session. played about 4 hours and was about break even for the day wen this happened...
villain in this clip is a huge fish, 95vpip and super agro. wen he checks the flop after 3betting im almost sure he has a hand cause he was just a nutter. i check behind to help make him spaz out if he had KK or something, if he has an Ace the money is going in. turn makes it even better and bam huge pot incoming.
this sets up the next hand within the same orbit. between the two hands the fish 3bet every time and pot pot bet the flop and turn. was clearly on mega tilt.
was a great flop and easy call. then he pots the turn and im like oh shit. had a very reliable tell on him he pots turns and rivers for value otherwise he bet smaller. but i figured he thinks and lower pair is value, and maybe even like AK AQ plus he is obviously on mega tilt. close my eyes and just shove it in. sweeeeeeeeeeet!
so in other news we had a dealers choice game the other day. i didnt know how to play at all so i tried to just play tight but didnt do too great. lost i think $110 but a bit of that was in indian poker lol. cant say i enjoyed the limit games they were to slow and everyone was multiway to every turn. we would have to play bigger limit stakes to make it work imo. some other games like 5 card omaha were insane, had some 4 way all ins set over set nut flush and wraps all in for over 100 each. was mental.
also had another holdem the other night. i played alrite, picked off alot of bluffs pretty well but made a pretty big mistake in one hand:
i ave AT in the sb and we r 4 way to a flop of T33. dev bets out so he prob has a T and tom calls, they r both pretty fishy so i reraise smallish to isolate one of them and take the lead. only tom calls and im pretty sure he has a T. bet turn and river both blanks. he reraises me pretty small on the river and i just knew i was beat. hes called 3 bets so must have showdown value so hes only repping a 3 by raising me here. if it was anyone but tom id fold but he is such a spaz i had to call and he had K3. he slo played it well ill give him that, if he had raised earlier he might have gotten more tho i dont know... well that was $110 gone.
another kool pot saw me raise utg to $1.5, dev calls and tim makes it $7 from the bb. i have KQs and dev to surely call behind me and being quite deep with tim who just rebrought i call. flop is 8xx with my flush draw, he cbets nearly pot which is prob not the greatest on his part, now if i just call im commited to any turn bet. i have no option but to shove $20 to $100 hoping he has QQ JJ TT and i have over 40%. turns out he has QQ and tank folds. impressive fold tim is becoming a phenom laying down his overpairs. i poker sotved myself a range here that id shove. nut flush or KQ KJ flush draws, sets, QQ+. i wouldnt stone cold bluff tim here and he knows that he said it as he was tanking. also id just call with any pair JJ and down to keep his bluffs in and get dev to tag along obviously. he has 25% equity verse that range so gg. the one thing he didnt think of is if i had a set id only call to keep dev in on a safe board and to mayb get a turn baral with any bluffs. but still tim used to stack off super deep with any overpair so i thought it was kool.
tim also called a bluff of mine. i 3bet button verse cutoff with trash and flop was Jxx. i cbet and he called, i think he prob has a med pair or a jack so i check behind the low turn card. river is a King and he checks to me so i put in a descent bet and he calls me with 33! owned...
one kool thing is dev ALWAYS sits by me and lets me rail every hand. so i know exactly how he plays now lol. he tried to bluff me several times and i called him down. for some reason he tries to bluff me lots but its all good i like him doing it cause he takes stupid bluff lines.
we played some omaha at the end and i won a few medium pots by bluffing with blockers which worked surprisingly well. no one is that great at omaha so alot of non nut hands get folded to heavy action i have found. just gota find that perfect balance of agression, id like to play more omaha its fun.
end up down $140, tom is up like $450. nearly everyone else must have lost or broke evenish. was a good night as usual though.
also transfered tim $200 online to start a roll. he has already grinded several thousand hands. phenom in the making?
**Sunday update:
today went good aswell. up $770. just made an awesome call before i stopped playing:
there is nothing worse than using ur whole time bank up on the river then calling and being beat. so im glad i won that one. figured my hand looked weak, his range looks strong. therefore he should bluff here and id fold nearly everything. alos over the whole weekend ive had a horizontal red line! i dont know how but thats awesome.
love blogging when ur winning.....
Tilt: $10700 (+$550)

You certainly are dominating at the moment. I looked at your 99 hand pot on PTR and wondered what the fuck you were achieving with by raising the turn with 2nd pair... nice read.
ReplyDeleteI like it how after 150k hands you should have been about $400 down... Gives me hope
ReplyDeletenah man i would have still been up about 2k from rakeback. that was just after my rush experience too....
ReplyDeleteI like what nispe said.
ReplyDeleteAh the good old check to induce a bluff!!!!! Dont you listen to your own advice? Nice call tho. "figured my hand looked weak, his range looks strong. therefore he should bluff here and id fold nearly everything" is usually my line of thought when i check call three streets. But I get owned.
